The picture from the projector in a dark room is absolutely excellent, it is wonderfully crisp when connecting to SKY HD and Blu-Rays (1080i) are impressive. I would recommend it to someone who is looking for a good quality but cheap projector for someone looking to to go for a projector rather than a big TV, or even both. Key for me for a home cinema projector is the noise, brightness, lamp life and the picture quality. Overall this projector is very quiet. The projector has a couple of brightness levels with standard and bright, standard is suitable for a darkened room and Bright is suitable for a room with some ambient light but I would recommend that you ensure that the room is dark with a Home Cinema as this matches the experience at a proper cinema. It has just 70-75 hours usage on the lamp in the setup. Overall the picture quality is excellent for the price of this projector and SKYHD particularly looks excellent through it.
